Meet your fav. coke dealers at Livestock!
Jan. 16 @ Livestock.

The Clipse are best known for hopping on one of the most influential beats of this generation in Hip-Hop IMO (Grindin').

I'd go on, but I'm in a hurry. HAPPY NEW YEARS!
P.S. Look out for the "Best of 2008" post sometime tomorrow.

We're back! Well.... I am at least. So this Christmas break's been pretty good to me so far. I got some dope shit for Xmas (I gotta post the stuff that my Aunt got me cuz its too awesome) and I got just less than 2 more weeks left. Other then that, catch me on Xbox Live (Gamertag: HOMEFORM) ALL DAY.

I don't know how many times I've said that the stickers were in the works, but they're still in the works lmao. A major problem that Wonton has with the stickers (Shout out Wonton) is putting the whole URL on the sticker without it looking crammed.
I'm still trying to find a place that does professional stickers to get that Uncle Jesse and Zack Morris shit poppin'.

Christmas Is - Run-DMC

From everyone (well, just Keon Cam, Springsteen, and myself) at The Attic Society.

For the first time in Sportsnet history, a mixed martial arts fighter has been named Canadian Athlete of the Year.

"It's an honour for me to have this award and being the first MMA guy to receive something like this," St-Pierre told Sportsnet. "I want to congratulate the other nominees because they have done an incredible job in their respective sports, making this an even more special honour"

Putting Auto-Tune and the Talk Box to shame.

Shout outs to the FourL Group.
So yeah, my car got stuck on the road.
I wanted to take a pic, but my Dad seemed pretty pissed.

I'm sure everyone who reads the blog has just as bad a memory as I do, so it would be safe to assume no one remembers life six, seven years ago. The Diplomats? Wayne Wonder? Jenny from the block? Ring a bell? Well, those were the glory days: Neilson Park, Asian Avenue, and being physically active. I'm sure people know what I'm talking about. Anyway, to recapture those years I decided to pull a whole bunch of my favourite tracks from the pre-Youtube era, when everyone watched BET (106 & Park with AJ and Free! What!). Hopefully I found some gems we've all forgotten about (you can thank me through cash, thanks):

Usher, Lil Jon, & Ludacris - Lovers and Friends
David Banner - Like a Pimp
David Banner - Cadillacs on 22's
The Game, Ludacris, & Kanye West - Whole City Behind Us
Smilez & Southstar - Tell Me
Mannie Fresh - Real Big
Pharrell - Frontin' (Ft. Jay-Z)
Big Tymers - This Is How We Do It
DMX - Party Up
DMX - Where The Hood At
The Diplomats - I Really Mean It
Juvenile - Bounce Back (Ft. Birdman)
Jermaine Dupri & Jay-Z - Money Aint a Thang
Nappy Roots - Round The Globe
Wayne Wonder - No Letting Go
T.I. - Rubberband Man
Fabolous - Breathe
T.I. - You Don't Know Me
Freeway - What We Do (Ft. Jay-Z, Beanie Sigel)
Talib Kweli - Get By
Three 6 Mafia - Stay Fly
Tupac - Thugz Mansion (Acoustic) (Ft. Nas)

Malvern days!

Here's where you start... stop dressing like this.
Respect though, its not your fault their parents let them look up to you!

This song might have been the song that got me into that real Hip-Hop. I remember it was on a streetball mixtape (remember when that shit was dope? I had a mean slip-n-slide back in the day. If only I knew how stupid it looked) by these dudes from Vancouver called "The Notic" and they always used to play some real stuff in the background. Mind you, I was like 12.

Man! These past two weeks I've had so much homework, it's ridiculous. Life's been so busy and tiring.

I can't wait for the holidays.

No emo.

[Edit: Man, this wasn't even clever at all, haha, how emo!]
BEFORE YOU WATCH THIS: I double dare you to watch this video without laughing. Comment if you watched the whole thing through and did not burst out even once.

Failblog is so fuckin awesome.
Now that I have all the time in the world, I wanna brush up, but this stupid "backup" computer doesn't even have a sound card. I'd get whooped if I used the stereo speakers... so I'm here blogging about it.

Aside from Cock-Meat Sandwiches... (Its a link to Harold & Kumar. Don't worry.)
I read an article on how the U.S. blasts music for long periods of time (24hrs+) to help interrogate terrorists over in Guantanamo Bay. Here's a list of songs they use (according to this link):

-Dirrty - Christina Aguilera feat. Redman

WTF!? That shit's weak sauce! You wanna piss some these dudes off? Put a Twilight bootleg on repeat for a couple days. Shoot, I'm pissed off already. How does the playlist process work anyways? Do they hold a meeting and brainstorm songs that would be worth playing? How did Rick Astley miss the cut? On second thought, dancing terrorists doesn't sound too good...

Damn you, Rick.

The long awaited stickers are officially IN THE WORKS.

If you like urban art, you're gonna dig the handstyles.

The photoshoot is coming around the New Year. Shout outs to Mills.

Look out for The Attic Society's "Best Of 2008" post.

Even on my 1 month break (YEEEEEE!), I still find myself looking up whats good in the world of Advertising. If you didn't know, I take Creative Advertising over at Centennial. I basically learn the basics of what it takes to come up with ads (tv, print, radio, etc.), and some other shit that I forget, because not ALL of it is fun and interesting.
These Samsung ads (Note: There are no slogans involved) actually made me "lol" , but had me thinking about the level of volume that I keep my music at. Apparently, a loss in hearing when you're old is pretty serious (fo' reel, yo?) but how can you listen to Brooklyn Go Hard at a minimal? NO WAY. Theres been a couple of times when I'd be on the bus ride home from school, and I'd kinda fall asleep to a song that would be blasted (mind you, I always sit at the back of the bus to keep it thuggin'), forgetting that the song right after Brooklyn Go Hard was Hot n' Cold on my On-The-Go playlist. TRUE STORY.
(No homo)

So apparently, today homo(sexual)s decided to "call in gay" today, to demonstrate the economic clout of gay people. So, just saying, if one of your boys wasn't at school/work today, LMAO, watch your back, son!

Yeah, it's not really worth blogging, but still...I bet you 80% of The Attic Society readers enjoy loafting downtown on a Friday or Saturday night. What better way to loaft downtown than to loaft at a free event like the Cavalcade of Lights?

You remember Dragonette, don't you?

TWO MORE DAYS!
A lot of people have asked me stuff like "Why're you so quiet?" and "Whats wrong?" lately. Its nothing much. Its just the case of the exam blues (its not like I'm studying like crazy or anything... just the thought of hand cramps and lined paper get me depressed), and a little 808's & Heartbreak, but thats another story.

Yeah, I don't even know why I'm writing in a reflective manner. Fuck that shit. TWO DAYS SON!

Tell Santa I said wuddup.
MANNY! MANNY! MANNY!
I recently got some stupid Trojan virus cuz I didn't update my Norton, so I haven't been on too often.

If you didn't know ($20 says you're not Filipino if you don't know), Manny Pacquiao won by TKO over the PayPerView King, Oscar De La Hoya. This puts Manny up with some of the premier fighters of today, such as Ricky Hatton, and even Floyd Mayweather Jr.

When Manny Pacquiao fights, its said that the crime rate in the Philippines drops to zero. They recently made a "Manny Pacquiao Day" in the P too. I'll stop there. I personally hate it when other Filipinos boost Manny like they know shit, when all they know is Manny. Don't sweat it, I know how dope he is! BEEF.

On another note, my uncle (Logan's pops) recently made a blog where he wrote an article on Manny in relation to being what the Filipino people have considered a "hero". I've only read about less than half way (my bad!) cuz I have the same attention span as Logan. In the last post of Logan's/my aunt's blog, it looks like he has more of an attention span than I do with that library toy. I'll get to reading soon.

Christmas season has finally begun! Nothing makes me happier than these Voortman cookies!

(P.S. I'll stop slacking on that Christmas list, this week, no doubt)

(Pre-swag)

Yeah, I bet by now you're sick of us. I mean all we ever do is blog about Kanye West anyway. But instead of posting about how awesome 808s was, because that's gone out of style, I decided to take everyone back to when Kanye REALLY killed the game. Back when he was on top of his game (pre singing).

For your entertainment, I gathered up all the tracks I could remember that Kanye produced and/or appeared on around the time he dropped College Dropout. His debut album, mind you! There were a bunch of gems I forgot about, tracks with Do or Die, The Young Gunz, that T-Mobile commercial song, etc. So if you think Kanye's killing it now with his autotune and man-bags, remember circa 2003-2004 when the Louis Vuitton Don was seriously grinding.

'Check it!':

Brandy - Talk About Our Love
Do or Die - Higher
Ludacris, The Game - Whole City Behind Us
Twista - Overnight Celebrity
Ludacris - Stand Up
Slum Village - Selfish
Dilated Peoples - This Way
Young Gunz - Can't Stop Won't Stop
Janet Jackson - My Baby
White Boy - U Know
Keyshia Cole - I Changed My Mind
Mobb Deep - Throw Your Hands In the Air
John Legend - Used To Love U
Alicia Keys - You Don't Know My Name
Common - The Corner
Talib Kweli - I Try
Camron - Down and Out
Jay-Z - Encore

The Game - Dreams

Common - Go

And for kicks, check this one, too.

Take that, Weezy!
That damn marijuana...
LMAO!

They're coming FOR SURE! These first round of stickers will be real simple... we have my boy Wonton writing our name up in his handstyle (which is dope) on a bunch of blank stickers. We'll be handing them out to friends & randoms... just anybody who wants them!

I had this dope idea that later on, we'd get laminate stickers of head shots of various people the three of us looked up to from back in the day (90's tv show characters, cartoon characters, movie characters, etc.) and just cross their eyes out with our URL. I'm thinking like Uncle Jesse, the Green Ranger, Sailor Moon (I had a crush on her in Grade 2), and others. UNCLE JESSE HAHAHHAHA! "Have mercy...."

Stick around. No pun intended.
