I'm not too sure who made this, (if you didn't know, whoever made this album played on the 2 names Teddy Riley, and Roger Troutman) but this is fuckin' epic. The Death of Autotune is a compilation of some of Hip-Hop's classics, such as Electric Relaxation, Shook Ones, and One More Chance, but all in Auto-Tune.

I honestly dig T-Pain's music, and 808's & Heartbreak has been on rotation for the past week, but this album beats that by a LONG SHOT!

(Decided to snap a shot of the snowfall with my camera phone - from inside the doorway, of course. It was too cold to go out)

I got up this morning (in the afternoon, actually) to this. Snow. Actually, the snowfall began last night, I know because I had to wipe the snow off of the car windows with my gloves while my boy, Ken, got the car warmed up. And thanks to GarbageJ and the recent weather, I'm totally in the festive mood. Anyone else catch the Santa Clause parade this morning?!

Santa's prepping...
And I'm not talking about me this time.

Is it just me, or are Christmas commercials crazy exciting? Not because theyre any good, but because it means its almost time. IMO, I've been a pretty good kid, adolescent, adult, person (once I turned 18, I dont even know anymore... I still get loot bags with novelty pencils and shit from my Aunts when my little cousins have bdays, no hate though, SHOUT OUT!), so I should be getting some dope shit.

Another thing that excites me is when my Mom gets excited and nags my Dad about grabbing the Christmas tree from the top storage part of the garage. Its funny, cuz we've had the same fuckin tree since I was 5. Its slanted to one side (ready to tip over) but my Mom still does the whole Martha Stewart. When I was 11, my mom had a tendency to hide my presents that came in early, at the furthest point of the tree...

Being the nosy ass kid that I was/am (Facebook just made it so much easier, bitch! Shout outs to the gyal dem who show no shame, but show a lot more in front of their bathroom mirror, and then posting it. Dumbass), I couldn't help myself, but to try and crawl under there to see what was up.

You know the drill... doing your best to unwrap the gift by the parts where they're taped, and then trying to tape it back together... but this time, I heard my mom walking towards the living room. I did my best to try and crawl back out, but my ass was stuck out too much that it tipped over the tree. Sheeeeeit. But yeah, keep in mind this was just a story I made up to make this post look long.

These are one out of many Nudies that I have. When I first bought these jeans(14 months ago) they were my favourite jeans. Now they are baggy, beat up,skate jeans, smelly (due to only 2 washes 3 now ) and house Clothes. This is for you fucking idiots who wear your nudies and keep them "fresh". Nudies are not meant to be "put on ice" they are meant to be worn and beat up. I had these jeans for 14 months and only washed them twice. The other day they were smelly form skating so I had to wash them and now they are house clothes. These jeans have been through a lot. Make a long story short dudes who are into Nudies now ( you guys are REAL late) don't put them on ice beat them up because thats what they are for! I leave you with this:

So this week I decided 'hey! I'm going to be socially conscious'. Being socially conscious while not buying any 'Legalize LA' american apparel tees. I watched a bit of CNN, trying to catch up on the Obama hype, but instead got caught up with all the cool gadgets they've got in studio. They had this Minority Report esque computer screen going one day, the next day they've got will.i.am beamed up hologram style. That's always cool. Everyday I'm getting closer to living out Star Wars (pre-Hayden Christensen, you know the good ones).

Anyways, onto your weekend indulgence:

  • This article on Wired, about single player video games vs. multiplayer video games, is pretty interesting. Gives some perspective on playing by yourself, which is pretty uncool nowadays, apparently. Personally, I've seen both sides, played my fair share of World of Warcraft, but now I don't even have Xbox Live to join in on some Gears 2.
  • Speaking of which! Gears of War 2 came out today, the culmination of a year's worth of hype. And it's well deserved too! Picked up my copy today, it's awesome man. I forgot how good video games actually are. (Nerd life)
  • Kanye's Anyway (ft. Kid Cudi) is my song right now! 808s & Heartbreak is shaping up as another buy for me. Then again, Kanye could release a series of audio books of him reading Twilight and I'd buy it.
  • ESPN's E:60 on Manny Pacquiao is real solid. I really enjoyed, especially since I'm probably among the 1% of Filipinos who don't order his fights on PPV. Coming into it, I didn't really even know he had a thick ass accent, shows how much I know. That said, Filipinos don't eat dogs!!

So my boy Lupe (he's always been my boy, even though he got all Hipster) released some info. on his LAST album, LupE.N.D. He mentions in this video that it'll be a 3-disc album. CRAZY! To be honest, I think after this album releases, he's gonna come back with another stage name, seeing how he considered the name Lupe Fiasco a mistake. Hector Disaster sounds dope to me...

ON ANOTHER NOTE, now that the first semester of College is coming to an end, I'm beginning to feel the pressure. Usually I don't care too much about cramming (I'm 4th quarter clutch anyways), but I kind of have this feeling that I should stop. SO, I've came to the conclusion, that starting next Monday, I'll stop going on Facebook, seeing how I'm magically on it when I'm doing h.w. This experiment is gonna be a crazy one, so I'll write a day-to-day journal on here about how it goes.
